Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using GarageHQ ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. The Service is provided by Mwix Ltd ("we", "us", "our").

2. The Service

GarageHQ is a vehicle management platform that helps you track MOT, tax, insurance, service history, mileage, and garage appointments. We integrate with the DVLA Vehicle Enquiry Service to provide vehicle data.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service
• One person or legal entity per account

4. Subscriptions and billing

• Free plans are available with limited features
• Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe
• You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
• We may change pricing with 30 days' notice
• Refunds are provided at our discretion

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Interfere with the operation of the Service
• Reverse engineer or copy the Service
• Use the Service to store data unrelated to vehicle management

6. Data accuracy

Vehicle data from the DVLA is provided as-is. While we strive for accuracy, we are not responsible for errors in DVLA data. MOT and tax dates should be verified independently before making decisions.

7. Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for any missed MOT, tax, or insurance deadlines, even if the reminder system fails. Always verify dates independently.

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the settings page.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
