For car enthusiasts

One home for every car you've ever owned.

Track the daily, the weekend toy and the project at the same time. Service history that goes with the car when you sell. A history check before you buy the next one.

No card required. Or pay £13.99 per one-off history check without a subscription.

You've got three cars, two MOTs due in the same month, and a tab open on AutoTrader you've been pretending you didn't click. GarageHQ is the place you drop every receipt, every mileage reading, every MOT reminder, so the car you're selling shows up to the buyer with paperwork, and the one you're buying doesn't show up with surprises.

What you actually get

One dashboard for every vehicle in your care. Zero spreadsheets.

Every car you own, all visible at once

Daily, weekend, project, winter hack. Up to 15 vehicles on the Enthusiast tier (25 on Garage). Separate photos, settings and reminders per car.

MOT + tax + insurance reminders

Email nudges 60, 30 and 7 days before each expiry. Per-vehicle opt-out (SORN? project on a trailer? mute it).

Service history, buyer-ready

Log every service, attach invoices and receipts, record mileage. Export a complete PDF history per car. Buyers pay more for provenance on private sales. You arrive with a receipt stack, they arrive without.

Mileage log + clocking detection

Full DVSA mileage trail plus your manual readings. The app highlights gaps, decreases and zero-deltas. Useful for spotting clockers and proving you aren't one.

Full UK history check built in

Before you buy: stolen (insurance + police), write-off with damage areas, finance with lender detail, scrapped, VIC, Q-reg, mileage anomalies, MOT, keepers, plates, colour, import markers, running costs and full specs. £8.99 per check on Enthusiast, less than half what the big players charge.

Parts finder from MOT advisories

The MOT notes 'nearside front brake pad wearing thin'. We pull matched parts so you can budget the fix. Works across every car you track.

Accountant-ready financial exports

Every cost on every vehicle, line-itemised by category, plus a ZIP of all your receipts and invoices. Ready to hand to your accountant or self-assessment preparer at year-end. Useful if you run a side business out of the project car, or just want a paper trail that doesn't live in a shoebox.

Recommended tier

Enthusiast

Buying 5+ cars a month? Look at Fleet.

Fleet is £24.99/mo with checks at £4.99 each. The per-check saving adds up quickly at that volume. Below that, Enthusiast at £6.99 or Garage at £14.99 is the better deal depending on whether you need team seats.

Common questions

What if I sell a car mid-subscription?

Remove it from the dashboard. The record (service history, MOT, mileage log) stays archived for you. You can export a PDF to hand to the buyer, which closes more private sales at a better price than 'I think I had the oil changed in spring'.

Does it work for project cars that aren't on the road?

Yes. Unlocked or SORN'd, it doesn't matter. Tax and MOT reminders can be muted per-vehicle so a garaged project doesn't spam your inbox. Service and mileage logging still works.

I only run a check every few months. Do I need a subscription?

Not really. Pay as you go is £13.99 per check, no commitment. But if you're also tracking 3+ cars and want the reminders, service log, fuel tracker and accountant-ready exports, the Enthusiast tier at £6.99/mo works out cheaper than most of the competition's subscriptions AND drops per-check to £8.99.
